Emerging into the abstract style of painting allows me to express a mood, or a feeling that is locked within my sub-conscience. The vibrance of colours stimulates my senses. The heaviness of a moment in time is lifted.

Inspiration is found from the world around me. I’m attracted to how colour changes with light, creating contrasts.

I strive to harness my inner thoughts, creating visual works that my audience can resonate with. To represent feeling through colour, contrast and shape.

Each piece of abstract artwork begins without a subject in mind. As it evolves, my feelings create the unexpected. While experimenting with acrylic medium and charcoal, I can be free to create whatever will be. My work allows me to let go, loosen up and quiet my mind.
