Mastering Mosaic
Adventurous Beginner/Intermediate Class
Workshop Details
This is an Adventurous Beginner/Intermediate class; no previous experience innMosaic stitch is required but students need to be comfortable with Cast-on, Knit, Purl, and Cast-off. Mosaic knitting is a style of colourwork that creates graphic, two-colour designs using simple garter stitch, slipped stitches, and just 1 colour per row. This 3-hour workshop will allow you to build the skills necessary to tackle Mosaic Stitch knit patterns with confidence. In this course, you will learn how to execute the Mosaic Stitch. Once the basics of Mosaic Stitch are mastered, we will also introduce reading Mosaic stitch patterns and fixing basic mistakes.
